Yesterday afternoon I had a power outage, and once the power returned my internet would not reconnect. I've tried all the steps i've seen in other forums like unplugging and replugging the gateway...Ironically not long after the firmware update there is an outage in my area. Not very fast Internet when you have a red blinking no service at all light for 9 hours and counting. They say within 24 hours but I won't hold my breath.
